Our business
Rottneros consists of two pulp producing units - Rottneros Mill and Vallvik Mill. Also part of the Group are Rottneros Packaging AB, which produces moulded fibre, Nykvist Skogs AB and SIA Rottneros Baltic, who provide the Group with raw material.
Vallvik Mill
Vallvik Mill produces chemical pulp of the highest quality. The mill is a global leader in filter pulp and E-pulp for electrical applications.
Rottneros Mill
Rottneros Mill produces different varieties of flash-dried mechanical pulp, where each quality has been developed to give the final application specific properties.
Rottneros Packaging
Rottneros Packaging in Sunne has developed its own technology for molding fiber. The result is Nature by Rottneros - packaging solutions of the highest quality.
Nykvist Skogs
The raw materials company Nykvist Skogs has been part of the Rottneros Group since 2020 and is run as an independent subsidiary.
SIA Rottneros Baltic
Rottneros imports some of its pulp wood from Latvia through its own subsidiary, SIA Rottneros Baltic, which represents a strategic component of the Rottneros Group’s pulp wood supply. The company also has the opportunity to contribute to the acquisition of pulp wood from other Baltic countries. These imports go mainly to Vallvik Mill.
