Rottneros has today decided to change the publication date of the interim report for the first quarter 2025 to May 15, 2025, at 7.30 CET. The previously communicated date was April 29, 2025.

  

The interim report for the first quarter 2025 will be published on 29 April 2025, at 8.00 CET, and is followed by a live webcast at 12.00 CET the same day.

As part of the ongoing downsizing process in Rottneros, Group Management is being reduced from ten to seven positions. Nils Hauri, currently Director of Innovation and Strategic Projects, will become MD Rottneros Mill with special responsibility for the innovation area. HR and Communications Director Ida Mörtsell, who is currently acting MD Vallvik Mill, will become MD Vallvik Mill. She will continue to be responsible for strategic HR issues.

Last week, Rottneros issued a profit warning due to rising raw material prices, the world market's declining demand for mechanical pulp and an increasingly weaker dollar exchange rate. The Group is now giving notice of redundancy for 47 people, most of those affected are working at Rottneros Mill in Sunne.

The English version of Rottneros’ Annual Report for 2024, which also includes a sustainability report, is now available on the company's webpage, rottneros.com.

The continued rise in the prices of wood raw materials, the negative market development, especially for CTMP pulp produced in Rottneros Mill, and a weaker USD, have had a negative impact on the Rottneros Group's financial performance in the first quarter of 2025.
