Our production journey starts at our development center in Sunne, where innovation and technical refinement take place alongside pulp production at Rottneros Mill. A prioritised area of development is high-barrier packaging with extended shelf life for a wide range of applications.
Powering the shift to sustainable packaging at scale
We’re shaping the future of sustainable packaging. Together with Arctic Paper, we’re building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Poland — designed to scale up environmentally friendly solutions for tomorrow’s needs. With a planned capacity of around 80 million high-performance fiber trays annually, this facility will deliver next-generation barrier technologies tailored to the food industry.

Nature by Rottneros food trays are made from FSC®-Certified Pulp and certified for contact with food, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Rottneros Packaging’s manufacturing processes are mainly powered by fossil-free energy from renewable resources and utilizing closed-loop pulping for efficient use of water.
