”SilviPak suits FoodCube perfectly for both the frozen and the chilled dishes. The package is stable and thanks to the fact that it is made of cellulose fibre it is cool to the touch and light to hold in the hand after heating”, says Eilif Nilsson at Corner Sweden who is now launching FoodCube. “Furthermore SilviPak has a very good environmental profile as the cellulose fibre comes from a renewable resource which is also suitable for composting. The thin plastic barrier film is easy to separate from the tray and both tray and film can be recycled within the existing EU waste man-agement systems”, Eilif Nilsson continues.

Corner Sweden has a number of food producers contracted. To obtain optimal cost efficiency, eliminate the need of possible secondary packaging and reduce the total amount of packaging, the food suppliers deliver their food in a standard SilviPak package which is adjusted for FoodCube.

”We are of course very pleased that Corner Sweden has chosen us as supplier for their unique food vending machine concept. This shows that SilviPak with its strong product properties and good environmental profile constitutes an attractive alternative to existing solutions on the market”, says Joakim Stockhaus, Vice President Rottneros Packaging.
